Moved by the tragic events of 2020, including the death of George Floyd, more than 100 artists and colleagues came together to find a way to help, asking “how can we use what we have at our individual and collective levels to support and help Black lives?” We discovered that by creating art that lays bare the inequities in our world – both past and present – we could offer hope for positive change.

Description
Art has the unique capacity to tell stories that go straight to the heart without words. It is our hope that bringing this book into the world will help tell the story of Black lives in a way that informs, inspires and creates curiosity and dialogue. Artists and collaborators in animation, illustration, games, the fine arts and related industries came together to support Black lives through a book created by allies from around the globe.
Through art, our goal is to inspire new generations to remember the past and move forward with context and meaning to change the future and support a Movement of change.
